Mera Peak Climbing is a great combination of adventerous trekking & climbing in the remote Hinku Valley located in East Nepal. From the summit of Mera Peak, one can enjoy the flawless view of giant Himalayan peaks including Mt Everest (8848m), Mt Kanchenjunga (8586m), Mt Lhotse (8516m), Mt Makalu (8481m), Mt Cho Oyu (8188m) and much more. This trip is quite challenging because of the high elevation but doesn’t require a lot of technical mountaineering skills.

Our Mera Peak Climbing starts after an adventurous flight to a small airstrip in Lukla. After a relaxed breakfast in Lukla, we start our trek heading toward South of Lukla. Instead of crossing the Zatrwa La Pass (4600m) directly, we will be trekking for few more days through the vibrant villages so that you are well acclimitized for the climb. Initially we will be trekking through terraced farmlands, lush forests while observing the rich local culture. Once we arrive at Khare, we will take a rest day for acclimitization, where our climbing guide will assist you with basic information required for the actual climb. From Khare onwards the climbing begins, where we overnight in tented camps at Mera Base Camp (5350m) and Mera High Camp (5780m) to summit the Mera Peak (6470m). After the summit, we will retace our way back to Lukla and fly back to Kathmandu. Flawless views of Himalayan gaints, glaciers, incredible landscape, picturesque villages, rich culture, memorable adventure and an achivement itself are some of the many highlights of Mera Peak Climbing.

Bergwelt Nepal has carefully designed the itinerary for Mera Peak Climbing to make sure that you acclimitize well and don’t miss out on anything during the trip. However, if you want to customize this trip, please feel free to contact us
