Kanchenjunga Circuit Trek  is an adventurous journey to the remote north-east corner of Nepal with the world’s 3rd highest mountain Mt Kanchenjunga (8598m). This trek is physically demanding because it involves traversing three high passes Sinion La Pass (4460m), Mirgin La Pass (4663m) and Sinelapcha La Pass (4646m) to reach Kanchenjunga South Base Camp (4840m) and Kanchenjunga North Base Camp (5140m). This region is not so much explored compared to other popular trekking areas of Nepal and therefore ideal for those willing to be away from the crowds and to enjoy the solitude of mother nature.

Our trek starts after a scenic flight to a small air strip in Suketar at the foothills of Mt Kanchenjunga. Initially, we will be trekking through unique Rai & Limbu villages, terraced farmlands, lush forests, cardamom plantations while spending our nights in small family run tea houses getting an insight of the local culture, way of life, myths & mysteries . As we ascend further, we will be trekking through high alpine scenery, small Sherpa villages, yak pastures all the way to Pangpema – local name for Kanchenjunga North Base Camp. After the North Base Camp, we will retrace our way back to Ghunsa and slowly make our towards the passes. After crossing Sinion La Pass, Mirgin La Pass and Sinelapcha La Pass, we will again ascend towards Yalung- local name for Kanchenjunga South Base Camp. Towards the end of our trek, we will take you through the rolling tea hills of Ilam to introduce you to the local culture and tradition of Far East Nepal. Contrast of culture, high passes, less visited trails, unique way of life, mind blowing views of Mt Kanchenjunga and other Himalayan peaks and an achivement itself are some of many highlights of Kanchenjunga Circuit Trek.
