Everest Three Pass Adventure Trek is the ultimate trek in the Everest region. This trek is quite challenging and requires you to be physically and mentally fit. We will be traversing through rough terrains in high altitude during our journey. We will summit three peaks Gokyo Ri (5360m), Kalapatthar (5545m) and Chukung Ri (5550m) while crossing three high passes Renjo La (5360m), Cho La (5420m) and Kongma La (5535m).
Everest Three Pass Adventure Trek starts after an adventurous flight to a small airstrip in Lukla. After a relaxed breakfast in Lukla, we gradually make our way towards Namache Bazar- gateway to Mount Everest. We will take an rest day for acclimitization in Namche Bazar. On our rest day we will hike up to Khumjung Village, where we will visit Khumjung Monastery to check out the ‘YETI SKULL’. On this day, we will be greeted with facinating view of Mt Everest, Mt Lhotse, Ama Dablam and much more. After an acclimatizing day in Namace Bazar, we head west towards the remote Nangpa Valley close to the border of Tibet. We will go over over the first pass Renjo La to the pristine Gokyo Lake. We will climb up to Gokyo Ri to enjoy spectacular view of Gokyo Lake, Mt Cho Oyu, Mt Everest, and other Himalayan peaks. After summiting Gokyo Ri, we continues towards Cho La Pass, where we will cross the Nagozumpa glacier. After crossing Cho La Pass, we head towards Everest Base Camp. Before heading to our last pass, we will also ascend the summit of Kala Patthar from where you can get a close up view of Mt Everest and the eintire panaroma. After exploring Everest Base Camp and Kalapatthar, we head towards east for our last pass Kongma La. We will summit Chhukung Ri at the end of this trek, before we head back leaving the high altitude terrain. Bustling Sherpa villages, high altitude terrain, three high passes, three summits, picturesque glacial lakes, glaciers, unlimited view of world’s highest peaks and the accomplishment in itself are some of the many highlights of Everest Three Pass Adventure Trek.
