Everest Base Camp Trek 14 Days is the world’s most renowned trek to the heart of world’s highest peak Mt Everest also known as Chomolungma- Goddess of the Earth – in the local language. This trek is one of the most visited places in the world, where the views of peaks over 8000m and other Himalayan gaints is just incredible.
Trekking to Everest Base Camp starts after an adventurous flight to a small airstrip in Lukla. After a relaxed breakfast in Lukla, we gradually make our way up to Everest Base Camp. As we ascend further, we arrive at the bustling town of Namche Bazar. We will take an rest day for acclimitization in Namche Bazar. On our rest day we will hike up to Khumjung Village, where we will visit Khumjung Monastery to check out the ‘YETI SKULL’. On this day we will be greeted with facinating view of Mt Everest, Mt Lhotse, Ama Dablam and much more. After acclimitization, we continue further through alpine scenery exploring ancient monasteries, pictersque Sherpa settelments while enjoying unstoppable mountain views that Everest region has to offer. Trekking in Everest region is challenging because of the high altitude and thin air. Before descending back again, we will trek to the view point of Kalapatthar(5545m), from where the veiw of Mt Everest is undescribeable. Amazing views, bustling villages, glaciers, high alpine scenery, cheerful Sherpa people and the accomplishment in itself is what makes Everest Base Camp trek once in a life time experience. The trails during the trek are relatively crowded since a huge number of people do this trek, but this journey to Everest Base Camp is worthwhile.
