Booking 

We make all our bookings under Bergwelt Nepal Pvt. Ltd. Our office is located at Maitri Marg, Lalitpur, Kathmandu Valley, Nepal. We recommended you to book the trekking tours in advance. However, we want to keep the booking process as simple as we can. Once you choose a trek or a tour, after finalizing all the necessary details of the package (for example hotel standard, ways of transportation, any extra additional services etc.) and your arrival date, we will send you a booking form.

To confirm the booking 25 % of the trip price must be deposited prior to your arrival. We will provide you the Payment Options and the deatils required. Please be aware that you will be responsible for covering any banking fees for your transactions. The rest of the amount can be paid either in Nepalese Rupees or any convertible foreign currency after your arrival in Nepal. Day tours do not require any prior booking or payment, you can even pay it over a nice cup of tea in the morning before the tour begins. For all our trips, we expect you to pay the total price before the trip begins.

Cancellation 

We also have a fair cancellation policy if you are not able to make it to Nepal within the time frame you planned. You can change the date of your arrival in Nepal for the same trip or if you want to do a different trip there will be no cancellation/change charge.

However, in case you cannot make it to Nepal at all or can’t take part in the trip, then the following cancellation charge is applicable:

  • upto 60 days before your arrival: €40
  • upto 30 days before your arrival: 25% of the total trip price
  • upto 15 days before your arrival: 50% of the total trip price
  • upto 07 days before your arrvial: 60% of the total trip price
  • upto the day of your arrival: 80% of the total trip price

We recommend you getting a travel cancellation insurance.

Note: For any unforeseen circumstances, if we are unable to continue with the trip you booked, we will  try and find the possible options for compensating you depending upon the situation.
